Q--Are all FastDater Events pre-pay and how much do they cost?
A--All Chicagoland FastDater events are pre-pay via credit card. We use the link based system Paypal. When the pop up payment box appears, you may also choose to just use your credit card instead of your Paypal account.

A typical event is about $40.

Q--Can I pay for a friend on my credit card?
A--Yes, however you must follow up with an e-mail to info@fastdater.com to tell us the name of the participant and event date/venue you paid for otherwise the system will delete them from the Guest List for not paying. You should also list in the notes section on your paypal payment.

Q--Is it secure and what if I encounter trouble?
A--PayPal is our credit provider. They are owned by E-Bay and have been doing online business for years. They are a well oiled machine! If you encounter problems with PayPal, you may phone their Help Line at 888-221-1161.

Q--What if I sign up for an event and need to cancel?
A-- If you cancel in a timely fashion (each event you sign up for will tell you when to cancel by to receive a credit voucher--usually 5 days before the party date), you will get a credit to attend another event after the party date you signed up for, within 6 months. You need to e-mail info@fastdater.com to receive your credit, it will not come automatically. Your Party Credit will be equal to what you paid. We do not refund your credit card under any circumstances. Events are non transferable to another customer.

Q--How do I get my credit?
A--First you must cancel online by going to CANCEL RESERVATION listed under SITE OPTIONS. Then you follow up with an e-mail to info@fastdater.com and request your written credit. You must claim your credit via e-mail no later than one week after the actual party date.

Q--May I use my credit voucher in another city?
A--No, each is individually managed.

Q--Can I walk up to an event and pay cash at the door?
A--FastDater parties are in demand, it is rarely possible that we can accommodate a walk up if you haven't pre-paid. 90% of our events sell out. If we are able to accommodate you, paying cash at the door is $10 more than if you would have paid online.

Q--How many people will I meet?
A--FastDater is the Original 3 Minute Dating Company in Chicago. You will find that our parties give you the most bang for your buck. We give you double the dates of any other company in town in one evening. A typical event will see a crowd of 50-100+ singles, which usually means about 22-25 three minute dates for you! Due to the nature of the event and possible no shows, it is sometimes difficult to maintain a perfect split of each gender and a guaranteed number of dates at each event. There are many variables that contribute to a party size and split. Please know that we have done our best to book an even party and encourage you to mingle at the breaks and after the party with all the FastDaters!

At a double age range party, we reserve the right when it makes sense to combine groups. In addition, we also use our discretion to make decisions when volatile weather strikes to move a party date. If you can not make that new date, we will issue a credit voucher to you for a future party.

Q--I am on a Waiting List for an upcoming party and want to know my chances of getting on the final Guest List?
A--It depends on the event, but typically your chances are slim. If we can accommodate you, we would contact you about 48-72 hours before the party and let you know. It is best to get yourself on a Guest List for an open event, even though it might be a few months out from now!

Q--Do you ever have sales or promotions?
A-- YES! If you are part of our VIP database that opted in to receive updates from us, you will be e-mailed about all our sales. You will be able to take advantage of all sorts of fun and seasonal promotions that will reduce your per party fee payment. These are non transferable to other daters.

Q--Do you allow people to enter your parties if they are younger or older than the posted age range?
A--Our system will take somebody 2 years older or younger than the age range listed.
